I just think its crazy how we all whine about the same things. Peace, love, freedom. We want all these things and we say we are doing so much to get them but we surly aren't. We all want it. If we all want something enough we'll get it. We haven't achieved any form of peace on a high rating scale. On a scale that reaches out further than our bedroom walls.
Four walls that hold us back and keep us safe. Sometimes safety is what is holding us back. We want to expand ourselves and break out, show everyone that we are more. But those walls of safe comfort are what we can't break through. After we shatter those walls or even climb over them, we are truly free and then we can surround ourselves with love and embrace peace.
That was supposed to be about differences. I started out with that intent but it shifted as I was typing. I wasn't really thinking, just typing like I do a lot. I don't usually blog my thoughts but I think I might start more often.

Mondays I sleep away.
Tuesdays I lay awake.
Wednesdays, they are the worst.
Thursdays I reminisce.
Fridays I see your face...And I can't breathe.
Although the distance is daring,
I sure know what it's like to be alone.

oh after an afternoon with you
and your rich brown eyes,
your lips, and your dark hair,
elbows and exposed knees tossing towards your ceiling."
